Teen Opinion

storyhour

This is a program where the teens of our community review and rate the books they have read.  The reviews are located in the young adult section of the library.

Hemlock Page Turners

The group meets on the last Monday of every month (Jan. - Nov.) at 1:00 pm. They discuss a book they have read that has been chosen by the librarian. Copies are available at the library for anyone to checkout. Everyone is welcome to join the group as there is always room for more discussion! Book suggestions are always welcome!

The group does not meet in December .

Friends of the Library

The Friends is a group of volutneers who work to support the library. They have an annual meeting in March to plan their year of events. They hold bake sales, booksales and other fundraisers. They also sponser the library's Summer Reading Programs.  Dues are just $1.00 per year plus the time you are willing to volunteer.

Spring and Fall Used Book Sales

The Friends of the Library sponsor two book sales a year--one in May and the other in September. The library will accept donations of books if they are in good, usable condition. We do not accept text books or old encyclopedias.
